Showdogs Pointscore - 2007 Obedience Dog Of The Year
This year we entered Darred (Bisart Double Dare CCD TD CGC) into the Showdogs 2007 Obedience Dog of the Year for a bit of fun and to get a little more involved in different things. With only his CCD Title and one CD pass under his belt, and competing against CDX, UD & OC dogs Australia Wide – we are very proud to say that Darred ended the competition for 2007 in 8th place Nationally, 2nd place in Victoria & 1st place in Breed or Top Dobermann Nationally. This is a really nice achievement for our baby boy at the beginning of his obedience journey.

ELMARO TROPHY 2007 WINNER - LEXI - BISART DIAMOND SPIRIT CGC
The Elmaro Trophy is awarded to a dog that places in its conformation class and gains a qualifying score in obedience.
Lexi won the Elmaro Trophy by taking 1st place in her Intermediate Bitch Class, then winning Best Intermediate In Show and then
winning Best Community Companion Dog In Trial. What a really lovely achievement for Lexi, she has won her Class at every Specialty
she has attended and her Class In Show at every Specialty except one. But to start out in obedience and achieve this as well with a
score of 96 / 100 on a 27 deg day and at the end of a very long week is a great tribute to her ability.
To win the Elmaro Trophy undefeated is something that has never been achieved before in the history of this award and we are
really very proud of our baby girl.

with low set hocks, nice tail set.

Brown Bitch. Lovely headed bitch, good parallels, full dentition, nice dark eye, lovely neck, lovely shoulders, lovely upperarm, adequate prosternum,
nice depth of body, nice croup angulation - a little high in tail set, nice hind angulation.

Beautiful level head planes, nicely chiselled beautiful neck into well made front, strong topline and good underline, rear angulation spot on.
Moved powerfully around the ring as if he owned it.

Super head plane, nice dark eye, elegant neck into the best of fronts, nice deep brisket, firm topline, good tail set, nice rear angulation.

We are very proud of Lexi's tracking this year, our tracking year has been interupted by alot of different things. She did a beautiful track for her prelim pass and she ended up doing her track 1 in 22 degree heat, she had Kangaroo's across her track and very dense sandy bush which was a challenge for me with the lead, with moments of pure tracking brilliance and beautiful article indications it was lovely for her to be awarded a very good. We are really looking forward to tracking season next year.

Darred was upgraded to the CD Class (Novice) because he gained his CCD Title the day before the entries to this trial closed. So with only a week and a half to train him up we are very happy with his effort at his first CD Trial. Having Judges say that they “have been looking forward to having him in their ring”, “can’t wait to judge this dog in Novice” and “it was an absolute pleasure to judge this dog” is a huge compliment to Darred and his aptitude in the obedience ring. I am sure I will have a lot of fun with my boy in the future.

*Very nice work from Darred as his mother is in season and was day 18 the day of the trials, it was about 6 degrees the whole day and raining most of it, and he had dogs breaking stays all around him (great distraction training), and I have a torn ligament in my left ankle which hinders left about turns so I lost 2 points in the afternoon trial not Darred, very proud of my gorgeous boy.
