Double Dare—our poster boy, this boy is already living up to his name, much like Rhemy in temperament he is into everything and full of life but also the best cuddler in the world.
He was second born in the litter, funny that we have ended up with #1 and #2 born. He was a verystrong baby and stood up for himself but was very relaxed and happy
at the same time, he still is. While his name is Darred, he gets called Red, Ed and Reddy Red Ed (which he thinks is very funny and just great).

He is a wonderful balanced puppy with a totally adorable cuddly temperament but will chase the rag, fetch the dumb bell or anything else for that matter,
loves obedience and tracking and is a dream to show.He is a striking young man, with his dads beautiful balance and movement, and is just too good to let go and so he is staying with us.

He is fast become Greg's velcro dog and is 'very helpful' around the garden, shed and house.
He is a totally lovable boy and while I am sure he will take some time to mature I think we will have some fun with this young man in the future.

TRACKING DOG TITLE
BISART DOUBLE DARE TD CCD CGC

Darred really loves his tracking and has really lovely focus (for a boy !) - we have had a great time training and trialing.
With my study's taking up full weekends and most of them co-inciding with tracking trials I wasn't sure we would get to many this year.
His first trial was Hasting Tracking Trial in June, he gained his Prelim Pass at that trial under Mrs Dawn Howard. He then gained his Track One Pass
at Gippsland Tracking Trial under Mrs Dawn Howard and was then offered a 'track on' and gained his Track Two Pass under Mrs Lyn Klecka.
Thank you to both judges for their much valued suggestions on how to proceed with his training and for also seeing the glimpses of brilliance on the track
from this young boy (19 mths) - as Lynn said, 'this boy can really track, he just needs time to grow up and settle'.
I had intended on pulling him from competition if he were to gain his TD Title this year anyway, he just achieved this quicker than we thought.
So now we can concentrate on training and honing those skills towards his TDX and T CH Titles next year.
Very proud of our young boy and his achievements so far.

Baby Puppy Critique
Exh No2: Bisart Double Dare
Rating: Very Good
Head: Good strong head for his age and well balanced, slightly domed in skull (which will probably flatten out with age), strength in underjaw, good planes.
Neck: Good Length of neck, well arched and good shape.
Forequarters: Nicely angulated, good shoulder angulation, good bone, nice tight feet.
Back: Short and firm, holds it well when moving, good tail set and carriage.
Hindquarters: Good angulation in the hinds, would like a bit more musculation at this age.
Movement: True going out and coming back when settled down, good reach in front.
Overall: A well-balanced sound puppy

* Very nice work from Darred as his mother is in season and was day 18 the day of the trials, it was about 6 degrees the whole day and raining most of it, and he had dogs breaking stays all around him (great distraction training), and I have a torn ligament in my left ankle which hinders left about turns so I lost 2 points in the afternoon trial not Darred, very proud of my gorgeous boy.

* Bit disappointed with myself as I was the one who lost points today and let Darred down.

Victorian Canine Association Inc Fundraiser Obedience Trial 05/08/07
Judge: Mr F Valastro
Darred (Bisart Double Dare CGC) – CCD Pass – 92 / 100 & 2nd Place
* Very happy with Darred today, it began raining again just as we entered the ring. He had lost no points in his heel work until we got to the figure eight and a tent outside the ring caught the wind and made a huge noise just as we were called to a halt, it scared him and he jumped out slightly to the side of me. Then on his recall he was coming in so fast that he left about a one metre skid mark in the soaking wet grass trying to stop but still didn't slow down enough and bounced off my legs sitting slightly off to one side. So all points lost were due to unfortunate things and not really his fault. To gain his title in 4 straight trials is a really nice start to his obedience journey.

WORKING APTITUDE CERTIFICATION TITLE

BISART DOUBLE DARE TD CCD CGC WAC

New South Wales Dobermann Specialty Weekend
Monday 24th March 2008
Assessor: Mr Dragan Tomas

Darred flew through his Working Aptitude Certification Test with perfect scores for every exercise on his first attempt.

I thought that he was ready to be entered but honestly didn't think that he would do as well as he did as he is really only a young 2 year old dog.
He flew through every exercise with his normal composure but when he got to the decoy he blew me away - he actually pulled me
several steps forward the closer the decoy got and I had a good hold of him (or so I thought). This dog really is a special one.

It was a real thrill to be on the end of the lead of a dog you have bred and put your heart and soul into rearing correctly, to see it pay of in this test
is some confirmation that we are on the right track. Then to hear Dragan say that Darred is the only dog he has passed in the last 5 WAE's
he has assessed and that he scored perfect scores for every exercise blew me away again.

What a dog - he is taking it to his mother thats for certain.

Hungarian Vizsla Club of Victoria Inc
Endurance Test
Saturday 24th May 2008

Darred gained his ET with ease - heart rate dropped to 80 by the end of the test (pretty amazing according to the vet)
As per ususal it is the handler who suffers this test not the dog.

Though gaining his ET gives Darred his 5th Title and he is not yet 2 1/2 years old. We are very proud of Darred's achievements to date and look forward to the rest of this year.

TRACKING DOG EXCELLENT TITLE

BISART DOUBLE DARE CGC CD TDX ET WAC

Darred passed his Test 3 at Hastings Tracking Trial with a lovely track - he actually ended up with a thorn in his foot which he got on the first leg of the track , the judge was going to pull us up to check it but he then stormed ahead and so they told me at the end of the track to check his feet. Poor Boy. His Test 4 was at Bendigo with a herd of sheep and lambs in his paddock and about 100 penned up close to the end of his track that were being mulsed - talk about distraction - he earnt that pass. His Test 5 was at Broadford and he did a really nice track, considering his track had a tree or stump on pretty much every corner - I was very proud that being a real 'boy' he didn't lift his leg on one of them.
This makes up Darred's Tracking Dog Excellent Title, his 7th Title to date.

COMPANION DOG TITLE

BISART DOUBLE DARE CGC CD TD ET WAC

Darred has had a bit of a ‘journey’ to his CD Title, after gaining his CCD Title he was upgraded to CD in the next trial he was entered 1 ½ weeks later and gained his first pass.
He was then entered at the Melbourne Royal but unfortunately he sliced his leg open on something at a training session and ended up needing 10 staples in his pastern. Luckily he didn’t injure any ligaments or tendons just muscle. He had about 6 weeks in recovery before I did any training and we quickly realised that he had a mental block caused by the injury and just didn’t want to do obedience – I guess it bought back the fear or pain of the injury. So after the National / Specialty Trials he had a long break from doing anything – just loving being a dog and being spoilt. It would have been a great pity if he didn’t recover mentally from his injury and so really he had all the time he needed. Leading into the NSW Specialty I really didn’t have any time to train and I guess it showed. But now my final exams are over and I have had a week to focus on fine tuning our performance we have pulled it together
and his results are more than I could ever expect him to achieve. I am very proud of him and really looking forward to trialling him in the future.

Darred gained his CD Title with a 197 / 200, Winning the Ring and Winning Highest Scoring Exhibit In Trial.
He gained all 3 passes with 1st Place in the Ring, Winning Highest Scoring Novice at Bendigo & Winning Best Novice Dog at the NSW Dobermann Club Specialty Obedience Trial
but gaining a High In Trial for his title is a really lovely acknowledgment of his ability in the obedience ring. He will be a pleasure to trial in the future that’s for certain.
